My New Job

The next new thing; it's always exciting but can be frightning at the same time.
Next week I start my new job; the prospect of which scares the bejesus out of me.
Why?
- Because I have been at my current job for the last 11 years. I've been there longer than I've been married.
- I'll be doing something (almost) completely different. I've been an interface designer. Now I'll be a .Net programmer.
- It seems as though everything in my life is changing. New job, helping with a church plant, possibility of going to Colorado for my wife's schooling.
- I realize that I'm not as 'in control' of my life as I thought.
But it's also a good thing:
- I've worked hard to learn what I can and succeed.
- I'll be doing something different.
- Everything in my life is changing.
- I don't have to be in control of my life. God will take care of things.
On the wall of the gym that I go to:
"I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength."
God, I need some strength right now.
