What's a Real Food?

Real Food comes from the ground, not from an industrial kitchen.

The Standard American Diet (SAD) is full of things that cause stress and aging of the body:  Breads, pasta, milk, cheese, beans.  These are all inflammatory to some extent.  The grains that we eat have a high glycemic index and are not very nutritionally dense in relation to the calories consumed. Instead I follow what is currently known as the 'Paleo Diet.'

The Paleo Diet is a way of eating combinations of lean meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, good oils, and nuts.  These foods are nutrient dense and generally have a low glycemic index.

As I continue eating this way, I have come up with some paleo recipes of my own that my wife enjoys, too.  I'll keep adding to my cookbook as I go on.
